The CHOC COWS & Believe Project MTB Race 2011
THE BELIEVE PROJECT was founded in October 2009 by the Bainbridge Family when Craig was diagnosed with terminal cancer. They created this foundation in the aim of giving others like him the strength and faith to fight this disease. As with many others with cancer, Craig was inspired and driven by Lance Armstrong’s story. For him, sitting on a bike was not just a sport, but a testimony to his physical and mental vigour.
With Craig’s recent passing, the members of the Believe Project have decided to pledge their continuing support by hosting a MTB race. The event will be entirely “non-profit” in that all proceeds will be donated to the CHOC foundation. It will be held at Northern Farms; a fantastic venue at Diepslot; and should prove to be a great day out for the avid mountain biker and the rest of the family.
In this regard, sponsorship and donations are vital in making this event a success and any assistance that your company can provide would be greatly appreciated. There are various areas still needing attention, and we hope that the following list will yield something you can help us with.
- Race pack – any company items bearing your logo; be it lanyards, pens, water-bottles or the like
- Volunteers – race marshals wearing a company shirt
- Refreshments
- Cash donations
